Paul Cree

Professional Storyteller

Paul Cree is a poet, rapper, storyteller and co-founder of hip-hop theatre company Beats & Elements. He’s performed around the UK at a variety of festivals and events such as Bestival, Lattitude and The Edinburgh Fringe. His work has featured on BBC 1Xtra and BBC London. He has written and performed two solo shows; A Tale From The Bedsit (2013) and The C/D Borderline (2016) as well as co-writing and performing in the critically acclaimed Beats & Elements shows, No Milk For The Foxes (2015) and the recently run High Rise eState Of Mind (2019.)  In 2018 he published his debut collection of poems and stories, entitled The Suburban, with Burning Eye Books. 



Nick O'Leary

Volunteer Marketing Manager

Nick is a full-time teacher with an interest in marketing. Nick volunteers his time for Britain Behind the Mask, managing our social media channels and creating engaging content which can further the aims and goals of our project.


Gareth Jones

Lighting Advisor

Gareth works as a performer and lighting technician in the West End and across the UK. Gareth has volunteered his time to create useful videos and images which support participants with taking images of their masks.
